I can’t believe how long it’s been since I posted. I was staying so busy with baking, decorating. creating, and making up fun projects that I could post multiple times a week. But isn’t it funny how sometimes we can get distracted by the tiniest things and forget to post for over a month. Well, that’s what happened to me. That and feeling nauseous every day. And having zero desire to bake. And filling every second of free time with another nap. But, I digress. Here is my little distraction:

I’m at 12 weeks today so I am expecting a complete refueling of energy any second now. Or now. Ok I’ll keep waiting. In the meantime I can tell you that: No, I don’t know the gender yet. We have to wait another 6 weeks for that. But seeing this little guy (I’ll refer to him as a he until I know otherwise) on the screen was amazing. I don’t remember it with my first but he was wiggling around and looked as if he was waving to us. My two-year-old waved to the baby and said “Bye, Baby!” when he left. It was super cute and brought a few joyful tears to my eyes.

Now that this pregnancy is a little more real, I’ll probably end up posting more on creative projects for the nursery, ideas for onesies, and fun things like that. I guess I’ll need to wait until we know the gender to get too creative…

Expect some cake posts soon too. I did have a couple jobs I had to do (begrudgingly, at times!) and I remembered to take some pictures that I can post as soon as I can. Oh, spoolsisters, how I missed you.
