100 posts! It’s hard to believe! We started this blog about a year ago and we’re pretty excited to have come this far! To celebrate, we are participating in Sew Mama Sew’s Giveaway Day. After you enter ours, check SMS out here to see many great blogs/stores giving away amazing things this week!

Another exciting thing for us is the opening of our new Etsy store! It’s called spoolsisters as well and can be found here!

P.S. from tracy – as a super bonus we want to include some supplies for our giveaway winner from our stash/collection. I just received my second prize from the May Day Giveaways! I have one more to post after this!

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened a package from The Home Ec Teachers Daughter and found FOUR separate items!!! I would like to tell you a little about each:

The first is a headband with a beautiful and fun flower on it! Here is Abby wearing it (and she hasn’t taken it off since!):

She probably won’t give it back to me…

The second prize was a cute hair tie. I have a full head shot:

Next we have a super cool water bottle coozie! I didn’t have any water bottles to show it off but I did have a beer on hand.

My prize from Beth at Snoodle came just in time for a rainy day! We needed an activity to do and E was happy to test out his new crayons!

They are perfect size for his toddler hands! He enjoyed slamming them on the table,

Stacking them,

and, oh yeah, coloring!

I love the multiple uses these crayons have! And he only tried to eat them once or twice – which is a huge plus!

Matt and I took a walk downtown Decatur today to run some errands, and I was so excited to get to use my new tea cozy that I won in the Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day event from Andrea.

I should have gotten a medium – I think it would be a better fit, but it still works well. No more carrying around paper cup sleeves for me (although I never seem to have the one I saved the next time I go for chai). I’ll put this one in my purse so I won’t forget it.

We picked a winner! We had a total of 235 comments – which has just blown us both away! The love, joy, and support of the crafters in this virtual community in itself is inspiring.
